Good news about interest rates!

Good news about interest rates!

How would you like to have a substantial reduction in your monthly mortgage payment... Right Now?

THREE years ago

$256,000. was the average sales price of a 1,500 square foot,

3 Bed, 2 bath home.

$1,456.00 would have been your monthly payment (PITI)

with a 20 % down payment and a 5.125% loan,

TODAY

$213,000. is the average sale price of a 1,500 square foot,

3 Bed, 2 bath home

$1,050.00 would be your monthly payment (PITI)

with a 20 % down payment and a 3.5% loan,

THAT'S A WHOPPING $406.00 per month savings (approximately),

and well worth calling your lender to check out what refinance rates are currently being offered.

Whether you are interested in refinancing or purchasing a home with these extraordinary low interest rates and home prices- Let me know!

Remember the TV ditty: " You can call me Ray or you can call me RayJ, but ya don't hasta call me Johnson?"    Well I have simplified my email address so it doesn't matter if you call me RayJ or Ray@RayJohnsonJr.com, it all comes directly to me. We did the same thing for my assistant Kaye. You can call her Kay@RayJohnsonJr.com , Kaye or just the letter K.

TABLE MOUNTAIN
Take a short drive and an easy stroll to one of the most amazing displays of wild flowers in Northern California.  From Chico, this is a perfect little day trip to the top of Table Mountain.   Take Highway 70 to Oroville and turn east on Nelson Road to Table Mountain Blvd. Head north on Cherokee Road and take the  6 mile ride to the top of an ancient lava flow.  The wild flowers here start to bloom in late February and continue through May or June. The display of color with little flowers white and yellow, lichens that range from dark browns to deep green with tiny red flowers. There is also a variety of little yellow poppies that cover the landscape which are different from the California poppy. There are streams meandering through the lava rocks from one pool to another until it makes its way to small water falls cascading off the ledge and back to the valley floor.

The drive up Cherokee Road takes you from the valley to rolling hills and through oaks and conifers. When you arrive at the top of table mountain, the landscape levels out. Continue driving through the  privately owned grazing land  to the public park on the west side.   Pick up a book on western Wild flowers and see how many plants you can identify.  Bring a kite and a picnic basket and make a day of it.

On your return trip, instead of backtracking the way you came up just keep following Cherokee Road north until it brings you back to Hwy70. Take a little side trip down Derrick Road and you will discover the Oregon City  covered bridge just down the road. Then return to Cherokee Road and follow it north until it comes back to Hwy 70.

MADE IN AMERICA

Many months ago, we got an email about a report by Diane Sawyer on ABC news called "Made in America." The All American Home ~ Part 2 This story was about a house that was constructed using 100% of the materials manufactured right here in the USA. At the end of the story was a list businesses in the USA and a challenge to use 5% more AMerican made products. So, we downloaded the list of American manufacturers and vowed to do our part to get the word out. The idea that we can individually make a huge impact on our economy if we altered our speeding habits to include just 5% more products made in America. It is hard to find goods made in America but let's stop shopping without noticing where the products are made. Let's work harder to support the American worker.
